Dan Harburg is a venture associate at Anterra Capital where he invests in hardware and robotics companies working to improve the efficiency of the global food supply chain.
Dan previously ran business development at Soft Robotics Inc., a venture-backed startup company enabling automation in highly labor-intensive areas of the food processing and packaging industries. Prior to Soft Robotics, Dan was an entrepreneur-in-residence at North Bridge Venture Partners commercializing technologies at the intersection of materials, medicine, and advanced manufacturing. He is a co-founder of Transient Electronics Inc., a company developing bioresorbable diagnostic and therapeutic electronic devices.
Dan held post-doctoral research positions at both Harvard University and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana after completing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Dartmouth as one of Dartmouth's first Innovation Fellows.
